14 yr Old Team Details

The Cost of Extreme Slam

The 14 year old team will begin practices Tuesday November 17th, with tournaments beginning in January and the season ending the first weekend of April.  Practices will be twice a week with the day and times to be announced.

The cost will be $1050.  This year all money will be paid online using this website.  $550 is due prior to the first practice, with the $500 balance being due by December 15th.  Players with a balance after December 15th will not be allowed to practice until balance is paid.  Players with a remaining balance as of January 1st will be dropped from the team.  We do not issue refunds, for any reason.  Unlike previous years we will not be doing payments by checks and monthly billing.  We are asking that you pay online.  This will also allow families to simply payback their credit card as they are comfortable, and not have to come up with all the funds here at Christmas.  If you are registering two siblings the system will automatically give a $300 discount for any family that registers 2 athletes online, as long as they register both of their daughters in the same session.  If you would like to make payment In Full and want to use cash or check, please register online and in the check out process enter the code "Offline21".  This will complete the registration process without asking for your credit card information, and you will not be charged the Processing Fee.  Then drop off your payment to Jeff Pratt either at your first practice or at Jerry Jackson Realty.

In addition to Extreme Slam membership you will need to join USA Volleyball.   You can visit www.DeltaVolleyball.net to join or renew your membership.

Your membership fee will cover your childs jersey, tournament entry fees, Coaching and Practice time.  Remember NO Player is ever Guaranteed Any Playing Time at a tournament.  All playing time is earned during practice and awarded by the Coach.  We understand that sometimes this is frustrating to Parents.  You feel like you paid for something that your child is not receiving.  Practice is what you are paying for...Tournament Play is a reward.  Parents, please be prepared to honor this policy.  If you see that your child is not playing as much then please ask your child to talk to the Coach and see what steps she needs to take to earn additional playing time.

My name is Jennifer Massey. During high school I was a four year
Varsity starter and played on a Club Team out of Austin, TX where we traveled across the country to play in tournaments. I played college volleyball for Eastern New Mexico University, on scholarship. After meeting my husband we decided to move to Rogers Arkansas to be closer to his family where I graduated from the University of Arkansas.  This year we decided to relocate to Harrison for a smaller town environment. We have three children attending Harrison Schools, Cadence is a freshman, Caleb is in 8th grade, and Adalia just started Kindergarten. I am excited to be coaching the 14U group and getting to know all the girls.

My name is Clint Massey.  As a multi-sport High School player with a primary focus on basketball I work with many kids to develop
confidence, mental toughness and strengthen their abilities in multiple sports. Before moving to Harrison with my wife, we owned and ran a competitive sports organization called Nitro Sports with teams competing in softball and basketball. Through Nitro Sports we were able to help in the development of over 100+ youth through coaching competitive sports and volunteering with recreation leagues over a 4 year period.
